Can you hear the music in a poem?
This poem was inspired by an image. Well, maybe it was more than one image, because there are quite a few of Led Zeppelin’s frontman standing on stage, holding thousands of people in his sway.
Robert Plant was THE golden god of the 70s rock scene, belting out ballads and heavy-hitting metal numbers with confidence and swagger. He accompanied every melody, regardless of tempo, with graceful hand gestures and thrusting hips—an interpretative dance that just added to his undeniable, hypnotic sex appeal.
Robert Plant was (and is) poetry.
So are you.
